Can I be super honest? Teacher appreciation gifts get me pretty excited! When I was younger and imagined having school-age kids, I always pictured making these adorable teachers gifts and my kids presenting them to their teachers.
Maybe it's because I was homeschooled and we didn't make teacher appreciation gifts (looking back we totally should have made our mom thank you gifts. Sorry, mom!). Whatever the reason is, I find so much joy helping my daughter pick out a gift, put it together, and present it to her teachers with pride in her eyes. Oh the small, sweet things in life, right?! 🙂
This past week, my daughter and I got busy planning our teacher appreciation gifts. I typically don't go super elaborate for gifts, but I love to put together a few things I know her teachers will love and appreciate. This year, we found inspiration while at Michaels craft store and built our gifts around these super cute flamingo and pineapple tumblers.
Here's how we made our quick and easy
Teacher Appreciation Gifts!
On our last trip to Michaels craft store, my daughter and I came across these adorable tumblers! I knew these would be a great container for her teachers appreciation gifts and my 4-year-old daughter loved the flamingo and pineapple designs. It was a win-win!
Once we had our tumblers picked out, we found some crinkled paper grass to match and also some yummy Dove Dark Chocolate & Almonds candy at Walgreens to stuff inside. I also wanted to get her teachers something that they could enjoy later on as a special treat. So opted to include a Starbucks gift card for them to enjoy later. They had adorable teacher gift cards in stock and I knew it would be the perfect touch!
My daughter enjoyed putting the tumblers together and stuffing in the grass, chocolates, and gift card. It was a super easy project that she was able to do all by herself, which she loved being able to tell her teachers that she made them without any help! Big girl status, right?! 🙂
There you have it! Quick & easy teacher appreciation gifts your child's teachers are sure to love! I hope you have a fun time making these gifts and don't forget to comment below! I'd love to hear what gifts you've given your kids teachers. Happy summer break everyone!!
